Elevator Half-Baffle – Standard Hardware Included (34.50″ Wide)

Description

This clear acrylic elevator half-baffle is designed for use on existing residential elevator installations where door-to-hoistway clearances require mitigation. Each panel is precision CNC-cut from clear cast acrylic and fabricated to a standard width of 34.50 inches for consistent fit and simplified ordering.

This standard configuration includes mounting hardware, allowing qualified installers and homeowners to order a complete, ready-to-install assembly without additional hardware selection.

Standard Hardware Included

This product includes a standard aluminum standoff hardware kit with the following specifications:

• 3″ aluminum standoff barrels

• Silver anodized finish

• Approx. 3-3/4″ total projection from door surface

• Hardware suitable for typical solid wood residential elevator doors

Stainless steel hardware, alternate standoff lengths, or non-standard door conditions are quoted upon request.

Material & Fabrication

• 3/8″ clear cast acrylic

• CNC-cut for accuracy and repeatability

• Edges finished for a clean, professional appearance

• Fabricated to a fixed panel width of 34.50″

Handing

Available in Left-Hand (LH) and Right-Hand (RH) configurations.

Handing reference: Handing is determined while facing the door to which the baffle will be mounted.
“Left-hand” indicates the door handle is on the left; “Right-hand” indicates the door handle is on the right.

This reference applies regardless of elevator orientation or approach direction.

Important Notes

• Fabrication is limited to the acrylic panel and standard mounting hardware only

• Installation method, application, and acceptability are determined by the installer and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

• This product is fabricated to a fixed width of 34.50″

• Fire-rated doors may require alternate hardware (not included)
