Standard Residential Elevator Door Baffle

(Available in 29″ and 33″ widths)

Fabricated for use in certain existing residential elevator retrofit applications,
this clear acrylic panel is available in two optimized widths (29″ and 33″) for
direct purchase. The panel is intended to reduce door gap exposure while
maintaining a clean, architectural appearance.

Includes anodized aluminum mounting hardware and a drilling template for
installation on solid wood residential elevator doors.

Based on field measurements from common residential installations, this
standard series is offered in two optimized widths — 29″ and 33″ — to reduce
the need for on-site trimming while simplifying ordering.

When installed, the panel is positioned with a top height of 45″ above
finished floor, consistent with typical residential elevator code requirements.

contractor, or other qualified professional. Elevator configurations vary, and
the purchaser is responsible for confirming that this baffle is appropriate for
the specific installation, including dimensions, handing, projection, mounting

Included Hardware

Each unit includes:

• (5) 1″ diameter × 3″ long clear anodized aluminum standoff barrels
• (5) 1″ diameter × 3/8″ long standoff caps
• Mounting hardware for solid wood doors
• Full-size drilling template

All hardware is selected for durability and clean visual integration with
residential interiors.

Handing (Left / Right)

Handing is determined from inside the elevator cab, facing
the door.

Left: Door handle is on the left side
Right: Door handle is on the right side

The panel includes a handle cut-out and must match the handle location.

Important: Selecting the incorrect handing will result in a
panel that cannot be installed.
